FIA international-level racing returns to the streets of Pau for the first time since 2018 with the revival of the world-famous Grand Prix de Pau in south west France. Circuit de Pau-Ville lies 20 kilometres east of Circuit Pau-Arnos, the setting of the final round of the 2021 PURE ETCR – RACE FR in October 2021. Pau has been home to car racing of varying types since the 1930s with legends such as Jim Clark, Juan Manuel Fangio, Lewis Hamilton, Sébastien Loeb, Jackie Stewart taking victories on the challenging undulating layout over time.
Opened in 1986 to host the Hungarian Grand Prix – and a memorable one too for the lead battle between Brazilians Nelson Piquet and Ayrton Senna – the Hungaroring has become one of the best-loved venues for a multitude of international racing series. Located just outside Hungary’s beautiful and historic capital city, Budapest, the 4.4km circuit regularly produces some of the most action-packed touring car races is the first circuit in Eastern Europe to play host to the first season of the Electric Touring car series . Hungary’s electromobility market is one of the fastest-growing in Europe. In 2020 alone sales of electrified cars grew by 66 per cent over the previous year.
